CDC’s Video for St. Joseph’s Family Residency Center
Triples Response Rate

This Fall CDC developed and launched a resident recruitment video on the St. Joseph’s Family Residency Center site. The video features current residents, doctors and program directors, speaking candidly about their experiences and benefits of St. Joseph’s program in comparison to others of its kind.

Their site is one of many potential residency programs that are linked on the Medical College of Wisconsin site, making it all the more critical to capture the attention of prospective residents instantly when they hit the site. The use of the video to do this, in addition to quickly conveying key information about the program in a visually stimulating way has proven overwhelmingly effective.

The response to the video was extremely positive and the number of applications submitted were more than triple that of previous years. Their resident positions were filled in record time with the caliber of candidates well-suited for the program. The staff and doctors are looking forward to an exciting year ahead with this new crop of residents.
